Mike Corey is on the ground on one of the planet’s most iconic jewels, the island nation of Madagascar. Teamed with the CrowdRise 24 Hour Impact Project and Ranomafana National Park, Mike is hoping to be able to save the lives of 100 greater bamboo lemurs, who are isolated from protected territory in a nearby forest that’s being quickly depleted and will be unable to serve as their habitat for much longer.
Endangered, and with their species on the brink of extinction, the lemurs need Mike’s help to survive. Watch the video to find out if Mike and his team are able to succeed in keeping Madagascar’s lemur population intact.
Did you know that Madagascar is world-famous for its lemurs? You can see from the video that they look something like a cat crossed with a squirrel and a dog. These animals are unique to the island of Madagascar.
