Crowdfunding Saves An Endangered Species In This Amazing Video

The forests of Madagascar are home to many completely unique species, yet are being destroyed at a disturbing and alarming rate, meaning that every year, more species are struggling to survive, tip-toeing along the knife edge of the endangerment of their kind .

Among the species closets to extinction are the greater bamboo lemurs, and in this video, Mike Corey incredibly raises $10,000 in 24 hours to go toward a project that will hopefully help keep them alive.

Threatened by deforestation, lack of food, and poaching, these lemurs need Mike’s help to make it inside the boundaries of a nearby national park in the forests of Madagascar.
